HUGS is a group for people with disabilities and their carers who at some point in time have used the services provided at Havering Association for People with Disabilities (HAD) at Whittaker Hall, 1a Woodhall Crescent, Hornchurch, Essex RM11 3NN and wanted to meet socially.
Would you like to go out in the evening or during the day but would prefer to have company when you do this?
When asked the users of HAD. said they wanted a range of social events and activities outside Whittaker Hall.
So HUGS was born.

What ideas do you have for events? HUGS could be your group. If you would like to visit the cinema, go to a local pub, on a day trip to the seaside or have lunch somewhere locally with other people, why not join HUGS and make it happen.
